Lakeview Road Property Owners Association is a community association connecting neighbours and enabling common action when needed. This site provides all the basic information you'll need about our little piece of paradise.

Our nominal community boundary includes Lakeview and Upper Lakeview Rd.
Our members elect a Board of Directors annually. Currently serving are:

Membership and Services
Please join us!
If you live within the LRPOA boundary area, purchasing a community membership is easy and it’s a one-time payment for only $20 per year.
If you are a new property Owner to the area, please use the ‘Contact Us’ page below or email us direct at lakeviewroadproperty@gmail.com and provide your name and property address.
The $20 annual payment is to be made by e-Transfer only to the email lakeviewroadproperty@gmail.com In the Message box of the e-Transfer page, please ensure you include your address.
Joining LRPOA provides strength in numbers and allows the membership to react or mobilize as a broader united group in the event of an issue. Fees are allocated yearly to LRPOA operating costs such as the Annual General Meeting, the summer social and the website as well as for costs associated with any new initiatives or projects agreed upon by the membership in advance that we all benefit from.

Household recycling and waste site
The waste and recycle bins previously offered by Helmut are no longer iin service. Please take your waste to the Invermere Transfer Station at Industrial Road 1 in Athalmer open 8:30-5:30 daily.
Community Network
We have a private group within the WhatsApp messaging service that allows us to share the latest goings-on with each other (e.g. bear on road!) . Once you've purchased your community membership, you'll receive an invitation to join our WhatApp group chat.

RDEK is the governing body for development. The Lake Windermere area development plan is located on their website linked here

How can I protect my home from Forest Fires?
In conjunction with RDEK and FireSmart, and assessment of our community has been done. Resource materials are linked here
